Meet Rebecca Pontera
Director of Client Services
Hello there,
It was my pleasure to join the Senior Life Team in March 2008 and what a
great opportunity it has been. Providing emotional support and helping Seniors and their families to better understand all the resources available to them is some of what I provide as the Director of Client Services.
My career began in 1987. Having served in a variety of capacities over the years allows me to better serve the families I work for.
My Professional experiences have included:
- NYS Department of Health approved Administrator of a Licensed Adult Care Facility specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
- NYS Department of Health approved Case Manager for Licensed Adult Care Facilities
- NYS Department of Health approved Program Director of a Memory Care Community
- Admissions, Sales/Marketing Director for Retirement Living as well as Assisted Living & Memory Care
- Social Adult Day Program Director
My Professional affiliations have included:
- Volunteer Caregiver Support Group Facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association
- Member: G.R.A.P.E, (Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly)
- Member: Monroe County Hoarding Task Force BNI
- Facilitator: Families in Transition Support Group at Presbyterian Home
